Governor Walker Vetos Wright Heritage Trail

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Wisconsin Governor and Republican Presidential hopeful, Scott Walker, vetoed 104 items from the state budget, including "...a plan that would have created a Frank Lloyd Wright Heritage Trail that showed drivers on Wisconsin highways how to get to landmarks the famed architect designed. Along with it, he removed a $500,000 grant that would have been used to promote the trail." It's a shame a plan to bring more tourism...

It's a shame a plan to bring more tourism (and tourism dollars) to the state could not survive the machinations of petty politics. Read more here.
