The Bones Of The Bavinger House Auctioned Off

In my nightly web sojourn, I came across the disturbing discovery that some significant remnants were auctioned off at the Wright Auction House back in March 2012 from Bruce Goff's Bavinger House, which collapsed thanks to storm damage and subsequent neglect in 2011. It's bad enough that a masterpiece of American architecture had to be needlessly lost, but selling off its bones instead of working to resurrect the home just adds insult to injury. What...
