Cevan LeSieur posted the news on The Prairie School Traveler's Facebook page that the Salt Lake City-based Ladies’ Literary Club gifted their Ware and Treganza-designed Prairie Style landmark clubhouse building located at 850 East South Temple to Utah Heritage Foundation. The Foundation is dedicated to renovating the building and restoring its original beauty while preserving the legacy of the Ladies’ Literary Club. The Foundation is dedicated to renovating the building and restoring its original beauty while preserving the legacy of the Ladies’ Literary Club. Once renovated, Utah Heritage Foundation will operate the building as an event center for the community to use. They expect to have the building open for events in the fall of 2014.
