Origami-inspired Synergia pavilion in Columbus is a complex, LED-lit public structure made from recycled plastic. Students of the IU School of Art, Architecture + Design in Bloomington, led by Professor Jiangmei Wu, designed the pavilion as an experiment in building complex structures that grow similarly to biological forms, soap bubbles, and crystal patterns.
