Looking to hike off trail this summer? Here's an appealing compass worth slinging around your neck. LA based designer Joey Roth collaborated with SHwood in Portland, OR (they make good-looking wood framed sunglasses), to create this limited edition handmade wooden compass. Above: Made from laminated maple and East Indian rosewood, the Compass features a Francis Barker survival compass; $75 from Joey Roth. Above: The compass comes with a leather tie for hanging round the neck. N.B.: Navigate our Gallery of rooms and spaces with 246 images of inspiring Cabins .
