Donald Michael Aucutt, editor of the PRAIRIE Journal and George W. Maher expert, sends word that a Maher designed "light" for the John Rath House in Chicago, sold for $37,500 Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Los Angeles Modern Auctions auction in Van Nuys CA. That's one of the higher prices for a Maher piece. The "hanging lamp" seems to be the work of Willy H. Lau, Maher's frequent collaborator in the mid to late 1910s....
