The score was Friends of the Queensway: 1, Haters: 0 this week as the controversial proposal to turn a disused rail line in Kew Gardens into a new High Line-esque park secured $1 million in funding. The group behind the project also selected NYC firms WXY Architecture + Urban Design and DLANDSTUDIO Landscape Architecture & Architecture to lead a feasibility study that will be the next phase of the plan.
