Robinson's Victor House In Danger

In an editorial for oakpark.com, Laurel McMahon makes the case that River Forest needs a better historic preservation ordinance to stop the senseless destruction of architecturally significant homes. Part of what is underscoring the need is the scheduled demolition of the Harry Robinson-designed Paul F. Victor House at 930 Ashland Ave. Robinson is a noted Prairie School practitioner with several works in River Forest and surrounding Western Suburbs. Hopefully this house will not be lost....
