Founded by Irène Cohen (a member of the genius retailing family behind Bonpoint and Merci), Bonton in Paris is a mini empire of chic, haute bohemian children's clothing and furniture boutiques. Cohen's most recent venture is a vast concept shop in the Marais; the three-story space features a cafe, a beauty salon, a book shop, children's furniture, a confiserie, an old-fashioned photo booth, and more. We especially like Bonton's line of children's furniture painted in sophisticated shades like gray, khaki, red, and brown. The Bonton concept store is located at 5 Boulevard des Filles du Calvaire; go to Bonton for more information. Above: Red High Chair with straw seat; €90 (L), Gray High Chair with straw seat; €90 (R). N.B.: This post is an update; the original story ran on May 17, 2010.
