Rookery Elevator Panel For Sale

Urban Remains in Chicago recently added a rare elevator door transom from the interior Rookery Building for sale on its website. The metal piece dates from the 1930s renovation by William Drummond and features etched Art Deco motifs and winged animals designed by Annette Byrne. Not sure why it still isn't at the Rookery in downtown Chicago. No price is listed, but I can guess it's got several zeros at the end of it. More...
