Yesterday was a busy and exciting day for Frank Lloyd Wright-enthusiasts. The announcement of finding a positively identified (and factually supported) new Wright House is big news. As readers of the blog are keenly aware, Wright scholar Mary Jane Hamilton, along with members of Frank Lloyd Wright Wisconsin, announced the discovery of a newly confirmed Wright-design in Madison, Wisconsin on Tuesday October 6, 2015. The building is an example of the American System-Built Homes (ASBH), Wright's earliest attempt to provide beautiful and affordable architecture to those of average means.

This home is the sixteenth ASBH home to be identified and the second to be revealed in Wisconsin this year. Now, Frank Lloyd Wright in Wisconsin members are the first to have the opportunity to see this home and hear its remarkable story.

11 AM - 3 PM
$75 for members of Frank Lloyd Wright in Wisconsin

TOUR SCHEDULE

First Group: 11 - 11:30 AM.
Second Group: 11:35 - 12:05 PM
Third Group: 12:10 - 12:40

Lunch break

Fourth Group:  1 - 1:30 PM
Fifth Group:    1:35 - 2:05
Sixth Group:    2:10 - 2:45

If you're not a member of this fantastic organization or you'd like to invite a non-member friend to join you, the cost is $100 which includes a one year membership in Frank Lloyd Wright in Wisconsin.

Guided interior tours will last a half hour and you will see the physical and documentary evidence that confirms this house's pedigree. Tours are by reservation only at specified times starting. Each tour group is limited to a maximum of 10 people.
