In the heart of Stockholm's Sodermalm neighborhood lies the moody apartment of illustrator Mats Gustafson , located in a late-19th-century building. Gustafson renovated the flat with friends Neil Logan and Solveig Fernlund (of Fernlund + Logan ), who emphasized the play of shadows against the stark white walls. We especially admire the muted kitchen, antiques collection, and art objects on view throughout the living spaces; all reminiscent of an Ingmar Bergman set. For a similar look, we source some of the key elements in each room below. See more at T Magazine . Above: The walls in Gustafson's apartment are painted Stockholm White ; for a similar stark approach, consider Farrow & Ball's All White Paint ; $85 per gallon.
