Picture 2 A recent Crain's Chicago Business article announced the aims of the 500-plus member Unitarian Congregation to pursue direct involvement in raising the estimated $25 million it will take to completely restore Frank Lloyd Wright's Unity Temple as well as an adjacent site and $10 million for a cultural and educational center to be used by the church and other organizations.

This news raises more questions than answers: like where's the secular, non-profit Unity Temple Restoration Foundation's role in all of this if the Congregation is taking point on restoration? Read the article here--as we follow this story we'll hopefully learn more.
