Inspired by the local vernacular, the 110-square-meter Pond House comprises a cluster of interconnected timber structures carefully angled to optimize passive solar conditions. Rough-sawn untreated Siberian larch clads all of the structures, including the roof, which also features fully integrated solar thermal and photovoltaic panels.
