La Fromagerie, on Moxon Street in the heart of Marylebone, is tucked away from the bustle of the high street and is always a welcome refuge (especially since there's a cafe nestled toward the back of the shop). Owner Patricia Michelson, who has written two books on the subject of cheese, specializes in regional farmhouse varieties; the shop features cheese cellars with on-site affinage and a signature walk-in cheese room. There's also a well-sourced selection of produce, seasonal fruits and vegetables, freshly baked breads, and dry store ingredients on offer. For more information, go to La Fromagerie .
