Interaction with visitors might have been one of Shigeru Ban’s goals when he designed the new Aspen Art Museum, but three visitors took the concept a bit too literally and got themselves arrested after their attempt to climb the 47-foot-tall museum walls.

Interaction with visitors might have been one of Shigeru Ban’s goals when he designed the new Aspen Art Museum, but three visitors took the concept a bit too literally and got themselves arrested after their attempt to climb the 47-foot-tall museum walls. The climbers have to pay a fine of $150, do 10 hours of community service, and will not be allowed to visit the museum for an entire year.
