We've doubled our hours: This year's LA holiday market at Big Daddy's Antiques is taking place this Saturday and Sunday. And more than 30 of our favorite California maker-designers and store creators are joining us, so it will be a one-stop shop for all the gifts on your list. Hope to see you there!  Here are the details and a preview of some of the highlights. Saturday and Sunday, December 5 and 6 The Remodelista Market will be in residence at Big Daddy's Antiques at 3334 La Cienega Place near Culver City from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.   Above: More than 30 local artisans will be showcasing their wares at Big Daddy's, including (clockwise from top left): The MiA Project:  A fashion and housewares shop and creative consultancy in LA devoted to celebrating the best of 100-percent made-in-America design—hence "MiA." Brenden Ravenhill:  Modern classics from an LA lighting and furniture designer who is a longstanding Remodelista favorite. Wax Poster:  Images by leading photographers printed in California on archival paper with fade-resistant ink. Rule of Three:  LA designer Paige Cleveland's hand-dyed textiles, including pillows and totes of marbled silk. Baum-kuchen:  An international couple's collection of Bauhaus meets wabi-sabi goods for the desktop and beyond. Chapparal Studio:  Crystals and minerals (fluorite mini pyramids shown here), terrariums, and full-moon-inspired jewelry from an LA design studio. WelcomeCompanions:  Miranda July– and Lena Dunham–endorsed surrealist leather bags by an upstart LA architect. The design here is the Bandage-Pill Cross Body, and we love the house-shaped carryall. Ihako:  Blue-accented everyday tableware made in Arita, Japan, by Yuta Miyazaki, a graphic designer who now works in porcelain.  The Citizenry:  Thoughtfully designed fair-trade furniture and accessories from around the world, copper-framed Argentinian leather butterfly chair included. Olmay Home:  From a Norwegian designer based in LA, a collection of pared-down household goods made of natural materials. Martha Davis: Leather shoes, bags, and wearables by an "it" SF designer. Otaat:  Minimalist men's and women's accessories, from wallets to party hats (metallic leather version shown here).
