Imagine this space: A restaurant entirely covered in 50 wood panels which only took three months to complete. Read on to see the recently remodeled space.  Flexoarquitectura are the masterminds behind the renovation of Oval Bar, a hamburger diner located inside a 19th century building in the Eixample district of Barcelona. Because of economic constraints, the Barcelona-based architects decided to preserve the building's layers of history, which helped them to save both time (it only took three months to complete) and money. For more information, visit Flexoarquitectura . Photography by Jose Hevia Above: The exterior of Oval Bar in Barcelona. Above: Simple materials such as wooden boards were used to create seating, tables, and wall paneling. A total of fifty large wooden boards were used throughout the entire space.  Above: Bricks and columns were kept in their original forms. Above: White-painted brick walls give the space an industrial feel.  Above: Bathroom walls were completely covered in sheets of wood (the countertops and doors are made from the same).   Above: A wall of bricked grates painted in blue in the bathroom.  Above: Vintage seating was used throughout the space.
