Questions persist as to whether or not the Lincoln Colored Home in Springfield, Illinois, the first orphanage for black children in the state and one of the first in America, was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. There's a connection between it and the Lawrence family that commissioned Wright to design and build the iconic Dana residence in town...so who knows?
