Frank Find: Oak Park Home Photos

I did some antiquing over the weekend and found a little treasure trove of Frank Lloyd Wright-related photos of the architect's own 1889 Shingle style Home in Oak Park, Illinois. See the rest of the photos after the jump... All three photos are black and white and feature Wright's home prior to its restoration, which began in 1974. How can we know this? All three photos are black and white and feature Wright's home prior to its restoration, which began in 1974. How can we know this? The geometric concrete fence around the property in the photo below and the center position of the front door in the other photos are from a remodel prior to its current restoration back to how the Home looked in 1909.

These photos are an interesting window into the past and help show how far the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust has come in restoring and preserving this important historic site (which you can tour and enjoy today, thanks to their efforts).

There are no dates on the photos, so I'm not sure when they are from. However, if any PrairieMod readers can provide their opinion as to a possible date, it would be appreciated.
