Bystrup’s elegant new pedestrian and cycle bridge to span the Thames from Battersea to Pimlico

An elegant footbridge design by Bystrup has been chosen to span the River Thames at Pimlico. Wandsworth Council has nominated the Copenhagen based firm to create a pedestrian and cycle bridge between Pimlico and Nine Elms in Battersea. Bystrup beat off competition from 74 practices including Amanda Levete, Marks Barfield and Hopkins.
