With water conservation being a primary design driver, iconic designer Philippe Starck incorporated unique elements into a new tap design that focuses on keeping water usage to an absolute minimum. What we have here is a radical product which is designed to use half as much water as regular taps, but which avoids making the user feel the loss of water pressure. This is made possible by  incorporating ninety jets into a tap that spurt a combination of air and water to give the user a more robust water-flow sensation than what is actually coming out of the tap.

This is not the first time Axor has teamed up with Starck, and their past collaboration have always been major successes. This time round however, the Organic tap is derived from a very naturalistic form (it looks like a twig) that is not only pleasing on the eyes, but also very ergonomic and user-centric.
