Registration is now open for the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy's Annual Conference in Mason City, Iowa which will take place October 10-14, 2012. Titled "Frank Lloyd Wright and Midwest Modern," the event will showcase all fo the architectural wonders that this idyllic "Main Street USA" town has to offer. Find out more after the jump... As stated on the FLWBC's website:

Join the Conservancy for three days of insightful presentations by panels of Wright experts, architectural tours and special evening events. In addition to the recently restored Historic Park Inn Hotel and City National Bank (Wright 1909-1911) and Stockman House (Wright 1908), Mason City and surroundings boast some of the finest Prairie School architecture in the country with buildings by Walter Burley Griffin, Marion Mahony, William Drummond and Francis Barry Byrne. Other tour highlights will include the Alvin Miller House (Wright 1946) in Charles City, Iowa; the Lowell and Agnes Walter House (Wright 1945) in Quasqueton, Iowa; and the Douglas and Jackie Grant House (Wright 1946) in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the subject of Donna Grant Riley's An American Proceeding: Building the Grant House with Frank Lloyd Wright. The conference will conclude with a silent auction and gala dinner, complete with the presentation of the Wright Spirit Awards. Bus transportation and boxed lunches are provided for all three days of the conference.
