Clad in black-stained eastern white cedar, the single-story Lockeport Beach House blends in with the surrounding forest of tamarack and spruce that protect the sandbank from erosion. Although the house is hidden from view of the beach, the sounds of waves and shimmering light reflected off the water can be heard and seen through the treeline at the site’s southern border.
