This green architecture building has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a garage. It is surrounded by a serene, beautiful  view of Taos Mountain to the east, Truchas Peaks to the South, and pasture land to the west. With this amazing environment, this house should be a good place for relaxing.

Passive design becomes the basic concept for this eco construction. It is completed by good insulation for walls and roofs. It has double glazing windows with third heat-shield layer in the middle. Energy efficient appliances are also used, such as LED, CFL, ERV for ventilation, rainwater harvesting system, etc. All of these will provide high sustainability.

Some natural materials were used for finishing the interior, such as Kaolin Clay, Mica, flour, sand, straw. The exterior was finished by  a cement plaster base coat covered by cementitious stucco.
