Located on a gradual southward slope, the Residence in Muhos was built to look like an extension of the surrounding pine undergrowth with an angled turfed surface that connects the forest floor with the zigzag roof. The roof is strong enough to hold the weight of a moose in case any wildlife or people want to climb atop the planted slope.
