The New York Times reports that the Guggenheim Foundation is opening a new "pop-up" museum in the gritty East Village of New York. Dubbed the BMW Guggenheim Lab, it's described in the article as "part think tank, part open-air forum, part community center, all nestled on a vacant sliver of land between two tenements.
