Iannelli Sculpture Returns To Studio

It was reported recently that the Kalo Foundation has been promised the Alfonso Iannelli-designed 11-foot-tall terra cotta sculpture of the Virgin Mary that was formally found above the entrance to the former Immaculata High School on Chicago’s North Side. The sculpture was removed and held at the Smart Museum of Art for years, but now Kalo plans to restore the work and place it on display at the Iannelli Studios Heritage Center in Park Ridge,...
