Lou Zacaro of Modern Illinois sends two listings that PrairieMod readers should enjoy. The first is a home in Barrington, IL looks as if its been inspired by Dean Bryant Vollendorf's "Baysweep" design. This 1967 home just had a price reduction to $725,000. The second home was designed in 1954 by Julius H. Marling in Northbrook, IL. As you can see from the photos, this one needs some TLC but has some great MCM features and could be fantastic if restored and/or renovated in character. Check out more info and the listing here. Lou has not been able to find out much about Marling's career, so if PrairieMod readers know anything please share!
