I was recently approached by the Dana-Thomas House Foundation about their desire for a new, simple organizational logo. They had enjoyed my illustrations of other Frank Lloyd Wright buildings and they asked me if I'd be interested in designing something in the same vein for their new logo. I was happy to oblige and worked up a new concept that incorporated a stylized graphic of the iconic Prairie home's entrance encapsulated inside a square, with a new type treatment for the name underneath. I also presented how the stand alone graphic could be used in a palette of colors associated with the house.

I'm happy to report that the logo was officially adopted for usage at the Dana-Thomas House Foundation annual board of directors meeting last week and will begin to appear on organizational materials in the near future.
