While doing a little more antiquing over the weekend, I came across a brochure from 1938, put together by the Wisconsin Transportation Company, highlighting the sites in Lake Geneva. I opened it up to find a tiny photo along the bottom featuring the Wright-designed Hotel. Even though it's small, you can still make out a few of the distinctive features of the building.

What a shame to have lost this once proud building. The more I come across visual fragments on this elusive Wright-design, the more I can't wait for Patrick J. Meehan's definitive study all about the Lake Geneva Hotel to be published! If you have any old photos or items from the hotel before it was demolished, please send me images and i'll be happy to share with everyone.
