Fox River Day School Poses Challenges For Elgin

When the John S. Van Bergen Fox River Day School shut down in 2011, a slow steady decline occurred for the buildings until they reached the dilapidated state they are today. The City of Elgin is challenged to figure out how to keep the buildings from crumbling (or being ruined by vandals and squatters) and figure out how to develop the 11 buildings on the campus into a new, thriving iteration.
