An article recently posted at rrstar.com should raise some flags for people concerned about the preservation of significant architecture. The Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Kenneth Laurent House in Rockford, IL has been on the market for some time, without any sale and it may soon be on the auction block. A local preservation group wants to purchase the home for a museum, but has had trouble raising the funds. It may come down to a last-ditch...

The Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Kenneth Laurent House in Rockford, IL has been on the market for some time, without any sale and it may soon be on the auction block.

A local preservation group wants to purchase the home for a museum, but has had trouble raising the funds. It may come down to a last-ditch effort as the home prepares to go to on December 15, 2011.
