Montreal’s floating five-star resort Bota Bota recently received a sleek and eco-friendly upgrade. MU Architecture expanded the spa-on-water’s footprint onto dry land with the Bota Bota Gardens, a lush development that includes a pool, landscaped relaxation areas, and green-roofed pavilions made from recycled shipping containers. Created with sustainable design principles, the environmentally sensitive project uses prefab construction and a geothermal energy source.
