Rob Barros sends word that Minnesota Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians members are invited to tour “Redleaf,” a house in Lakeville designed by John H. Howe, on Saturday, May 18, from 10 am to noon. More info after the jump... The house was built in 1979 for William Krebes, a furniture maker who built the furniture in many of Howe’s houses. The house was built in 1979 for William Krebes, a furniture maker who built the furniture in many of Howe’s houses. John Howe also became a good friend of Krebes.

The house is owned by Krebes’s daughter, Lynn Krebes Lufkin. She will be placing the house and all the original furnishings on the market in the near future. Rob has been invited to be the speaker at "Redleaf" and will be showing excerpts from his forthcoming film on John H. Howe.
