An artist, Gail Siegel, is passionate about extensively working on her precious metals as a jeweler. Her joy in creating fine art using fire became more natural to her when she decided to include a Studio Shed as a part of her working space. Developed by Denver-based company SolSource, this extraordinary shed was designed upon the foundation of environmental stewardship, affordability and good design.

The shed is built with eminent materials such as a brushed aluminum trim and window frames, FSC certified dimensional lumber, a corrugated metal roof and clerestory and transom windows with shatterproof ultra-clear Plexiglass. It has the flexibility to come in many customizable styles and selections like their optional upgrade of a 36′ pre-hung metal door to a style of either French, sliding glass doors or solid stained natural birch.

Siegal’s installation accommodated eight 235-watt panels that processed energy from the sun for the advantage and aid of her home and shed. Studio Shed is an excellent source to feel the power of the environment and utilize it to benefit the balance of nature.
