The carport is being added to the east side of the building at  East 15th and South Rockford Ave. The project managers have taken the time to match the brick and terra cotta finials from the main portion of the church to try and make it look seamless. I'm not sure if this was an original part of the church's design that was not executed, or built originally and removed at one point, or if it's wholly new. If you know, send us word and we'll be sure to do a follow-up post for everyone.
