Northern California-based interior designer Curtis Popp has just launched CPopp Workshop , a new furniture design and manufacturing company. After designing pieces for his clients, Popp decided to launch his own collection; his first entry is the Soft Side Table (so called because of its lack of harsh angles); "A side table is such an impromptu piece, it can serve as an ottoman, a stool, or as a drinks table,” he says. For more information, go to CPopp Workshop . Above: Popp got his inspiration for the table from the simplicity of a bundle of sticks. Above: The tables are hand made by local craftsmen. Above: The legs are available in a choice of wood with powder coated steel or in all metal legs. Above: The Soft Side Table is made to order with American walnut or rift sawn white oak.
