The Chicago Tribune recently spotlighted the May 17, 2015 annual house walk held in Wilmette, Illinois. The quotation marks around the event's name, "Preserving Our Past", are probably apt since Wilmette is not necessarily known for preservation (Irving House anyone?) Anyway, one of the featured four century-old homes included a 1903 Prairie-era residence reportedly by Tallmadge and Watson with the remnants of a Jens Jensen landscape design.
