I was perusing the website of Chicago architectural salvage company, Urban Remains, when an item from the 1929 Arizona Biltmore Hotel (Designed by Albert Chase McArthur, with consulting by Frank Lloyd Wright) caught my eye—a pressed opalescent white glass wall sconce panel that "features an iconic design derived from the logarithm of a b flat minor chord." I've not heard that origin of the hotel's block design, but it's intriguing. More here. Image via Urban...
