The NYC subway system is one of the fastest, greenest ways to get around town, but one common complaint is that stations are underground, dark and never see the light of day. JCDA, Grimshaw Architects and ARUP decided to tackle this problem with their design

The NYC subway system is one of the fastest, greenest ways to get around town, but one common complaint is that stations are underground, dark and never see the light of day. JCDA, Grimshaw Architects and ARUP decided to tackle this problem with their design for Lower Manhattan’s new Fulton Center, and came up with a beautiful Sky Reflector-Net to draw sunlight down into the station.
