Brand new "mega-carnivore" dinosaur discovered in Africa

Paleontologists have discovered fossil remains of what may have been the largest predator to ever hunt on the African savanna. Found in Lesotho, the recently revealed fossilized footprints of a previously unknown "mega-carnivore" date back to the early Jurassic Period, 200 million years ago. Although its size and demeanor was likely on par with well-known species such as Tyrannosaurus Rex and Allosaurus, the carbon dating of the fossil remains suggests that this new dinosaur may have existed far...
