Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects unveiled their winning competition proposal to design the area of Skøyen in central Oslo, Norway. The masterplan scheme aims to create a clear street network of main streets, internal passageways, shortcuts and promenades which will strengthen local engagement and link the area with the main transportation hubs. The design for the area, called Eureka Kvarteret, will create a connection to Oslo fjord and combine diversity of pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods...
