The blogs Chiboulevards and ArchitectureChicago Plus both featured the bittersweet story of the rediscovery and imminent demise of an historic art deco building façade at 2734 N. Milwaukee in Logan Square, Chicago. Area preservationist, Andrew Schneider, states the building will have its historic façade (featuring camel medallions that were the company logo for the Hump Hair Pin Company) removed in the coming weeks to be replaced with modern brick.
