Beautiful brick ambulance station in the UK renovated as a cozy vacation home

The garage, named St John’s Rye, was built in the 1950s to house two ambulances. The architects remodeled the original structure and added on a two-story addition to complete a four-bedroom home perfect for big families and entertaining. Existing red brick is highlighted throughout the structure, as well as locally made clay peg tiles. Grey oak panels make up the flooring and walls of the staircase and bedrooms.
