Shopper's Diary: Miette Confiserie in San Francisco

San Francisco's Miette (which means "crumb" in French) got its start as a bakery. But when it branched out into candy and opened Miette Confiserie in Hayes Valley five years ago, even our friends on the other coast sat up and took notice. We're happy to report that the store is as adorable as ever, offering plenty of eye candy as well as artisanal sweets. (Organic cotton candy, anyone?) Photography by Mimi Giboin for Remodelista.
