Located along the top tree line near a row of birch trees, Björk serves as a beautiful landmark destination that’s both unique in appearance and looks natural on-site. The building was prefabricated off-site and carried onto the mountaintop via a temporary road. The architects drew inspiration from the local Sami culture of the indigenous Finno-Ugric people for the building’s triangular glulam beam structural system.
