A modernistic, rectangular home was developed in Sapporo, Japan by Jun Igarashi Architects called ‘Rectangle of Light’.  In order to apply with building standard law, windows had to be placed in even though  they have no compliance with the outside environment. These windows are covered by a fiber plastic board and the ventilated windows are blanketed by a wooden board. Light manages to collect into the southern section of the building allowing reflective light to shine back into the rectangular home. Yet, the light shows variation as it changes just a little in the back of the rectangle emphasizing on the intricate features of this house.
