Doesn’t matter how old you are – if you’ve suffered any of the above, basic activity around the house becomes a challenge:

  • brushing teeth
  • tying shoes
  • washing your hair
  • opening cabinet doors & drawers

For that last one on the list, any hardware requiring a pinching motion is tough to execute when your grip is compromised for whatever reason. In those cases, the ideal pull shape is a ‘C’ or ‘T” – something that more than one finger can get behind & pull with your lower arm, not just finger joints.
