As stated in a recent press release:

For the first time in over a decade Frank Lloyd Wright® Wisconsin returns to Wright's beloved Wisconsin River valley and the community of Spring Green for the annual Wright & Like™ house tour.

Wright & Like™ 2012: Spring Green Hidden Treasures, takes place on Saturday, June 9, 2012. This self-drive tour will feature 8 private homes and 7 public sites designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, apprentices Herb Fritz, Wes Peters, Charles Montooth, James Pfefferkorn and Marcus Weston, plus John Steinmann and contemporary architect Ken Dahlin, whose sensitive use of Wright's principles is sure to delight tour goers. Only one of the homes selected for this tour has ever been open to the public. Tour headquarters on the day of the event will be the Wyoming Valley School, the only elementary school ever built from a Wright design! This is truly a rare opportunity to experience the work of the master architect and his students in the idyllic Wisconsin countryside that was Wright's inspiration.

Guided interior tours of each building will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Advance tickets are $45 for Frank Lloyd Wright® Wisconsin members and $50 for non-members. Tickets may also be purchased on Saturday, June 9, beginning at 8 a.m at tour headquarters, the Wyoming Valley School. Day of tickets are $50 members and $55 non-members. Along with tickets and tours of the school guests can shop from an array of vendors including Shiningbrow Booksellers.

In addition to the Saturday house tour there will be a very special event, An Evening at Taliesin, on Friday, June 8th from 5-8:30 p.m. This event is a rare opportunity to celebrate Frank Lloyd Wright's birthday at his world-renowned home. The evening begins with music in the theater, just as it did in Wright's day. Guests will then be transported to Wright's private residence to enjoy wine, a wide array of appetizers, and further musical entertainment while freely exploring the famed house, gardens, and grounds of Taliesin. Tickets to this very limited admission event will be offered first to Frank Lloyd Wright® Wisconsin members for $125. Any remaining tickets will go on sale for $150 after May 1st.

Please note that Taliesin is not a site on the Saturday, June 9th tour. However, for those wishing to visit Wright's masterpiece you can easily make separate arrangements by contacting the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor's Center at 877-588-7900. We suggest Wright & Like tour participants allow the entire day for the Wright & Like tour and book their Taliesin tours for either Friday or Sunday.

To purchase Wright & Like tickets please call 608-287-0339. Secure on-line ticket ordering will be available on the www.wrightinwisconsin.org shortly. If you purchase tickets in advance, the tickets and driving map will be mailed to you in late May.
